As a Person is born in this world, he will have some identification like name, address, Email, phone or national Id. Gathering all this information is one half of Person model. As a Person has to make his living he may choose to work in an organization which will assign him with some work. Gathering the information about the employee’s work relationship to that organization forms another half of person model.

So, Peoplsoft Person model is all about capturing the information about a Person and his/her relationship in an organization. This information can be captured using Core HR tables.
